I’m Coda Languez, software engineer by day, writer of odd and creepy things by night. My day job is why the haunted tech in my stories actually works. I build the machine, then I make it want something. I write horror, dark romance, and pitch-black comedy: cursed fairytales, morally grey monsters, and love stories that earn their endings the hard way. Bloody, tender, a little unhinged, and funnier than it has any right to be.

Everyone knows this fairytale. A red hood, a wolf, a road through the woods. They got it backwards. In the Deep Woods the thing in red carries a bearded axe and hunts the beasts, and the ruined, beautiful boy bleeding into her forest is the one thing she has not decided to kill yet. She has given him thirty days.
